Junior Confirmation

Sunday, June 8 is Junior Confirmation Sunday.  Three youth will be confirmed during the 9:30 a.m. worship service.  
All confirmation students will present their faith projects during Education Hour the previous Sunday, June 1.  Please come to the social hall June 1 at 11 a.m. to encourage these students in the demonstration of their faith.

Note:  Holy Communion will be celebrated the second and fourth Sundays in June (June 8 and 22).  June 1, 15, and 29 will be non-communion Sundays.

Pastoral Nomination Meeting June 22

Immanuel has recewived a list of pastoral candidates from the district office.  Information for the candidates may be viewed in the church office.  Plese call the office prior to visiting to ensure that the office is open.  

Immanuel will hold a nomination meeting Sunday, June 22, at 12:30 p.m. in the social hall.  All voting members are encouraged to attend.  If you would like to become a voting member, speak to an elder before the meeting.

Time to Clean Out the Closets!

Expanding Ministries will once again be collecting clothing and household items to be given to Helping Hands. Items can be left outside the choir room door beginning May 18 and ending June 22. (Be sure to keep access to Classroom 4 and the exit door clear.)

Congregational Birthday Party

Come to the social hall Saturday, June 28 from 5 to 8 p.m. to celebrate everybody's birthdays!
Theme: Hobbies.  Sign up to decorate a table to correspond to a favorite hobby you enjoy!
Watch for the signup poster to bring food.  Drinks provided.

Lutheran Witness Subscriptions

It is time for the annual review of subscriptions to The Lutheran Witness, a publication of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.  Immanuel pays for a subscription for any members who wishes to receive the magazine.  If you would like to change your subscription status (start or stop) please let the church office know by Sunday, June 29.

VBS Meeting

All VBS helpers (or anyone who wants to learn more about helping at VBS) are asked to attend a planning meeting Sunday, June 29 at 12:30 p.m.  We'll cover the basics, the Bible stories, share ideas ...

"Raising the Roof" Capital Campaign

Immanuel's "Raising the Roof" capital campaign continues through July 2027.  Your participation allows our congregation to proceed with re-roofing the church building.  Thank you!  (For photos showing why the roof needs to be replaced, click here.)  Giving envelopes are available in the narthex or from the church office.  Please note that "Raising the Roof" funds are deposited into an account separate from regular offerings.  Therefore, please do not combine your "Raising the Roof" offerings and regular offerings in one check.
