Greta B. has completed her Clinical Pastoral Education program in St. Louis. She will be commissioned during a special worship service here at Immanuel as she officially enters the office of Deaconess in the church. Please come to Immanuel on Sunday, May 20 at 3PM to participate in this special worship service. A reception will follow.
The Cocoon House Cookers will no longer meet. Cocoon House has changed their policy and is no longer able to accept food that has been cooked off-site. Thank you to everyone who has participated in this mission project.
On Wednesday, May 23, Ladies Bible Class will meet at 9:30AM (instead of the usual 10AM). Pastor Heck is leading this class through a topical discussion, "Understanding Death and Showing Mercy at Life's End." All ladies are invited to attend, and to stay for the luncheon following class.
Ladies who would like to learn more about the LifeLight Bible study program are invited to a luncheon Wednesday, May 23 at 11AM (note time change). This class will study the book of Hebrews in the fall, using LifeLight material. New ladies are always welcome. Ladies Bible Class meets 10-11AM on Wednesdays.
